Meet the founder and owner -- Ethan Cardwell AKA "Eazy E"

At the Heart of Glyde Skate is Ethan Cardwell -- a lifelong skater, creative visionary, and community builder. Ethan laced up his first pair of skates at just 13 years old and never looked back. What started as a personal escape quickly turned into a lifelong passion for movement, expression, and the culture that surrounds roller skating.

With a deep appreciation for retro aesthetics and a drive to make skating accessible to everyone, Ethan launched Glyde Skate Company as a pop-up experience designed to bring people together. His goal? To turn ordinary spaces into extraordinary playgrounds where people of all ages and backgrounds can rediscover the joy of skating.
